Greenspan’s limo ticketed for speeding

Alan Greenspan, former chief of the U.S. Federal Reserve, was about 20 minutes late for a reception that preceded his public appearance in Montreal yesterday. - The Gazette

Mr. Alan Greenspan has a bad history in the public eye, which this little incident does not improve. Would anybody care if it was someone else who got stopped in a limo instead of the greenspan? I guess the star status make it interesting.

Limo operators win battle to keep vans in fleets

Colorado: Local limousine operators won a battle to keep conventional passenger vans in their fleets, a victory for the industry as the Democratic National Convention draws near. - Rocky Mountain News

Lets congratulate our fellow limousine service provider for winning the battle. The law makers wanted to out rule limo providers right to have Passenger vans in their fleet. Why do they care? Vans are always booked and guests don’t mind it. That was a good victory to fight off another senseless law.

Australia is willing to grant $500 million to car manufacturers for a development of a green car. Nice going. The cars are then used by limo companies to create super stretches and limos.

Poor prom graduates. Always be sure to check your limo company. If possible come see their office, talk to some people and ask for some proof of business. A Better Business Bureau link is always good proof.
